I find your link very comprehensive, Aziz! And indeed, it's quite useful to be able to identify the operator based on the beginning of the mobile number. As for landlines, I think it's not worth going through ALL the reverse directories on the web hoping to find the answer if the number is unlisted. You just need to start your search at https://www.pagesjaunes.fr/ then to confirm the answer from that reverse directory https://www.annuaire-inverse-france.com/ and if you're still in doubt (?) https://www.infobel.com/fr/france/ and after that... well, you should just give up ;)
On the principle you're right, but the link I provided allows listening to any messaging service regardless of the operator, whereas I believe the one you gave is only valid for one of the three! And I simply don't know how to recognize the operator of a number!
What a lot of FREE SCAMS that bring nothing. I even tried with my own mobile number, for which I had authorized registration in the international directory, and they also claim they can't transmit it but offer to direct me to my voicemail for a premium call. TOTAL SCAM.

What is this scam? It's crazy! I've received more than 30 phone calls and I can't even identify who the number belongs to. What a bunch of crooks! I put my phone away; I'm fed up with making them rich, and you jokers need to stop treating us like cash cows.
For some time now, I've been getting calls from a number I don't know. I've tried several sites, and the one that convinced me the most is <a https://www.annuaire.local.fr/annuaire-inverse
No no, not in the classic directory. By default, a mobile number is private and not distributed. Operators have started to address the issue with the "universal directory." In fact, all subscribers have already received proposals for registration in this directory.
Given the lack of success of this last one, we will have to wait a few more years before having an effective mobile directory (whether reversed or not). In directories like Yellow Pages, you already have mobile data. But only if the subscriber has explicitly registered in the universal directory. In France, the mobile number is still very personal; we don't distribute it like that (and that's not such a bad thing).
You just need to start your search at https://www.pagesjaunes.fr/ then to confirm the answer from that reverse directory https://www.annuaire-inverse-france.com/ and if you're still in doubt (?) https://www.infobel.com/fr/france/ and after that... well, you should just give up ;)
and still free
