Samsung LCD TV very noisy fan

Hello,

I have a Samsung LE40A676 LCD TV that I bought over two years ago (so it’s out of warranty) and recently it has been making a noise like a lawnmower for a few seconds at regular intervals. It's quite loud and it's especially stressful and annoying. I suspect the fan (I can't think of what else it could be) might be dusty.

Do you have a solution to stop the noise? Disassembling the TV? Disabling the fan?

    Any idea? Because I don’t dare to take off the rear cover, I’m afraid of messing something up and accidentally disabling/breaking something, and I don’t even know if we can easily access the fan.

    Yes, there are fans in LCD TVs, right?

    I've never seen an LCD TV with a fan, that's for sure.
