modify an email to forward

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to modify an email received before forwarding it to someone else.

I am not able to do this. If I want to delete a section or the sender, it automatically removes me from the email.

can you make a copy or simply save it in the drafts? If so, do it and reopen it from the drafts folder so you can modify it and transfer it.

On laposte.net, when I set up forwarding, I can't modify anything anymore; I probably need to copy and paste before forwarding. I will practice.

Hello,  No one modifies their emails before forwarding them. When there’s an attachment to forward, for example, how to remove the text of the comment from the message?  Thank you

Well, you open your message, read it along with its attachment.
When you're done, you click on forward, but you modify the message before sending it, you check that the attachment is still there and then that’s it!

I don't have an email account at La Poste...
Another possibility: save the attachment on the PC and then create a new message by forwarding the attachment.

you have to set the message transfer options to inline and not as an attachment

in thunderbird:

tools-->> options-->> composition --> general then set to inline

this way you can easily modify the text otherwise as an attachment you can't do anything ;-)
