Messaging: unable to send attachment Solved

Question

Hello,

Whatever email software is used (Outlook, Firefox, Thunderbird), I can't send emails with attachments (photos in particular)... while I can receive them.
Is it a configuration problem with my email account?
I should mention that I have tried with attachments of different sizes and that apparently my email is limited to 15 megabytes for sending emails.

Hi! I see that this problem is multiplying! Because I have it too, and what’s weird is that the other admins have the same problem and are on the same modem as me (there are 3 of us on the same modem)... The only thing that worries me is that Outlook Express, MailWatcher Pro, or Messenger can't find my POP3... Who knows what POP3 is? It might be the solution to the problem??

I stumbled upon the workaround by accident: 1) by using the reply to an email with attachments, and adapting it, I can add my own attachments and it goes through,
2) on Microsoft Outlook, if I select 'plain text' (instead of rich text or HTML), the message accepts the attachments and sends them without any problem.

Hello

Go to settings, Options, attachment options. Attachment preferences. For the files I choose from my computer, check "always attach as copies" and for the files I choose from OneDrive, check "Ask me how to attach each time." The main thing is to uncheck the box "Always attach as OneDrive."
