SFR chip cut in half voicemail or not?

Hello,
I think my sister has cut her SFR phone SIM card in half, when I call I reach her voicemail..
If she has cut her SIM card, should I reach the voicemail or the lady who says "this number is no longer assigned (or is no longer reachable)"?????

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 7.0.1

    Hello, it's not the SIM card that determines whether you have a line or not... SFR activates a line and assigns it to a SIM card... lost or broken SIM card... the line is still active but no one can claim it because the chip is gone
    it's like a door; the line is the door and the chip is the key
    we have installed a door... (line) you have lost or broken the key to open it (SIM card) you can no longer access the room but the door is still there until you break it (here, cut the line with SFR) you just need to get a duplicate (go to SFR and ask to reassign the line to a SIM card) and the door will reopen again

Actually, I wanted to know if the fact that she cut the SIM card in two would mean that I would have heard the lady saying "the number is not assigned." Because some told me that if the SIM card is cut in two then yes, but if the phone is just turned off, it goes to voicemail.???

      The robot with a female voice cannot tell you that the number is not assigned, because the number is assigned, but unreachable (like when you go through a tunnel, or when you take a plane).

      As long as the line exists, you can call the corresponding number. Either you reach the person who answers the phone, or for some reason X or Y (cut SIM card, broken phone, unfavorable weather conditions, tunnel, plane, middle of the ocean, or I don't know what) the phone is unreachable, and you reach the voicemail.
