Capacity of a 320 GB hard drive?

Hello,

How many movies, songs, photos, and documents (approximately) can fit on a 320 GB hard drive?

    Your hard drive can hold:

    400 to 500 movies (divx format)
    or
    80,000 to 100,000 music tracks and photos
    or
    1,000,000 to 20,000 documents (Word, Excel...)

      A small correction regarding the documents, as some zeros have been forgotten.
      The 320 GB hard drive can contain between 1,000,000 and 20,000,000.

      It depends on what? Sorry, but I don't know anything about it... (otherwise I wouldn't be here writing...) I just want to make a copy of my computer, that's all!!

      It depends on the size of your files, the compression rate used for audio and video, the format of your images, but if your new drive is larger than the old one, you should be able to copy your data from one to the other.

      Well, it's the same issue; it depends on whether I'm giving you boxes of Bic pens or boxes of 50-inch TVs...

      How many movies? Well... more than 450 movies of 700 MB... but no more than 70 DVDs... how many photos? Well, millions of JPEGs of a few KB... but only a few thousand high-quality photos...

      In short, be more specific in your request ^^ 

      I just want to make a copy of my computer, that's all!!


      Well, check the available space on your hard drive compared to its size... you'll get your GB consumption...
