Impossible to receive photos via Messenger

Hello, I have Windows 7 with Windows Live Messenger. I can send photos, but I can't receive them; it always says (transfer error). I don't think it's my antivirus that is blocking me (Microsoft Security Essentials). If you can help me, thank you in advance.

    Check that your Windows firewall is not blocking access to WLM (Windows Live Messenger).
