Hello, on my HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 7, I bought Skyrim V via Steam.
My problem is that firstly there's a dll file issue.

Then, when the game launches, there's no sound. To top it all off, at the beginning of the game, you're in a cart and can only move your head. We go through a forest and arrive in a town, then the carts "park" facing a wall, and NORMALLY you get off the cart and the game starts, but for me, the game crashes! The game moves, the villagers move, but no one else moves, the prisoners in the cart don't get off, the wheels keep turning even though the cart is stopped against the wall.
LAULILAULE!
Anyway, if anyone has a solution :) Thanks in advance!
Configuration: XP UN V2.

I finally managed to solve my problem, here is my solution for those who might be interested:
Instead of updating DirectX with the links provided on the web, I went to the folder The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim (Program Files x86), then into DirectX10 and I clicked on DXSETUP (be careful, not on DSETUP.dll) and this time the update worked, and so did the game!
Oh joy :)
