Rolling in Skyward Sword

Hello,

I just started the game, and I need to look for some small animal species. To catch one, I have to roll against a tree, but, clumsy as I am, I can't remember how T.T Can someone help me??? Thank you!

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 7.0.1

    To perform a roll, you run (by holding down the A button) towards the tree and just before the collision, you shake the Nunchuk.
