Hello everyone and thanks in advance,

I wanted to know if anyone could inform me whether I could play COD MW3 with a controller programmed for PC.
I have an XBOX 360 controller programmed for PC and I can play all the games like "Dirt 3, NFS, COD Black OPS".
Yesterday I went to buy COD MW3 and I was really surprised when I installed it; in the main menu > options > controls, I have no controller option and when I change the buttons, the game doesn’t respond when I press A or X for example.
And since I'm not used to playing with the keyboard at all :s
If someone could help me that would be really GREAT

Check your game case, there will be an indication if the Xbox 360 controller is compatible or not?

Download Joytoker keyboard and mouse emulator, it works with all games not compatible with a controller.

Yes, it’s a bit complicated at first, but once it’s properly set up, it helps considerably in typical Microsoft games, like GTA 4, etc.

Click on auto setting and press the keys on the keyboard that you want to use, then go to the game control menu and press the buttons on your controller; it will set the buttons you chose for your controller.

Use Xpadder, it's more complete; you can actually use the buttons and joystick to simulate keyboard and mouse usage.

You should search on Google by typing something like "xpadder usage guide". It's a bit complicated at first, but once it's set up, it becomes child's play next time; there are even videos in French.

But with Windows 7, Xpadder doesn't work, installation issue. Do you have a software compatible with this OS?

No, buddy, first of all, your integrated video card is a no-go, you’ll risk messing up your system trying to play with that. You absolutely need a separate video card, like a PCI Express Radeon or Nvidia, it’s a bit complex to get into, anyway, I strongly recommend checking out the game’s website to see the minimum requirements. Basically, you need at least a dual-core CPU, 2 to 3GB of RAM, a GPU with at least 512MB, and possibly a branded power supply depending on your components' power consumption.

Hello everyone, I have a big problem. I just bought MW3 on my PC and everything goes fine during the installation. But when I launch the game, I can't read the text like ("options, multiplayer, etc..."). But I can see the images. Can someone help me please?

Thank you for all the clarifications.

I was actually wondering the same thing: using the XBox Evolution controller with Call Of Duty 3. Now, I know that I need to use, for example, Xpadder v5.7 on Windows 7.

Is this software available for free download? If so, can someone provide me with the link (and the password, if any, to unzip the file)?

It's POSSIBLE! XPADDER HAS THE SOLUTION! Check the xpadder tutorial and download it, configure your buttons, and you're good to go!
