Hello everyone,
I've been in the field for 6 years, and like many of my colleagues, I do not have a background in computer science.
I would like to consolidate my professional skills and increase my chances of career advancement. To do this, I thought about enrolling at CNAM to obtain (hopefully) a degree in computer engineering. Given the time it will take, the cost as well, and the fact that I've read here and there that this degree is not necessarily recognized by employers (like, yes, it's easy to get the degree while working), I wonder if it's such a good idea.
What do you think? If you have come from this type of training, please share your experience and perspective with me.
Thank you very much.

Hello,
I'm just intervening to see if I'm being read...
I entered as an engineering assistant at CNRS... with a BTS in industrial computer science...
after five years of intensive courses at CNAM, I obtained my engineering degree...
The logical step for me was to pass the CNRS IE exam... The texts are clear:
5 years of activity as an AI to qualify for the IE exam with or without an engineering degree...
So I tried the external IR and I passed it...
While I was in position, I was preparing a thesis to add a "research" component to my skills...
