Inovalley Hi-Fi System Problem

Hello, this morning when I wanted to play some music, I connected my hi-fi system to my computer via a black-and-white cable / jack plug. As with all the other times, however, today my system is "crackling."

Even when I don't turn the volume up too high.

I tested the radio, no crackling at full volume (sorry neighbors).

I thought it might be the cable, so I connected my mp3 player, no crackling, still at full volume...

So the last element that could be involved is my PC; I tested the jack plug with headphones... Again, no distortion of sound...

So either I've been cursed, or I don't know :s, what about you?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 7.0.1

You've made the rounds, so it's your cable.

Yes, but why is it that the MP3 plugged into the same cable doesn’t produce a crackling sound? That’s what I don’t understand :/.

Does your MP3 player allow you to listen to music from your PC?
