Hello,
I read online that you can optimize your processor by editing the registry. More specifically, the SecondLevelDataCache value in the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management.

However, as a novice in the field, I have a couple of questions.
_
1) In what I read, it is said that for an Intel processor, the value should be set to 512. But I have an AMD Dual-Core E-350.
So what value should I use?
_
2) Could this cause system instability?
_
3) Will I really increase the execution speed of the system?
_
That's all. Thank you for your guidance :)

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 6.0.2

Well, I got my answers on another forum :)

So I'm going to answer myself for others ^^
_
1) The value is also 512 for an AMD Dual-Core E-350
_
2) Normally no, the L2 cache is meant to be used.
_
3) After testing, it seems that, indeed, the execution speed has indeed increased. Not by much, (there’s no miracle) but it has!
_

There you go. Hoping it helps others :)
