Question

Hello and thank you for your help
I changed my computer, I was on Win98 SE now I'm on Win XP
During the installation of the MSTS add-ons, I get the following message
The language DLL vb6fr.dll could not be found.
I copied this DLL from Win 98 and pasted it into system32/dll cache, same message
What should I do??

Configuration: Win XP

Hello,

Install it in C:\windows\system32 (without dll cache)

Without being the cause of your problem, it is possible that XP uses a more recent version of this file. To ensure you have the latest version: http://www.dll-files.com/search.php?s=vb6fr

Glad it worked right away.  Know that generally all the .dll files in C:\windows\system for Win 98 are in .....\system32 for XP. There are exceptions, but they are rare.  Bye.

I installed a game but I can't open it and instead I get this message that says "The language dll vb6fr.dll could not be found"!
I did what was mentioned in the previous posts (I downloaded it from the internet and copied it directly into system32 instead of dll cache) but it didn't change anything!
If anyone has another solution, thank you in advance!

Vous devez simplement renommer %commonprogramfiles%\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA6\1036 en
%commonprogramfiles%\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA6\1033

Le problème vient du sp2 lui-même ! Essayez cela, ça fonctionne.
