Hello,
How can I crop a layer or a selection?
Let me explain because I do a lot by trial and error.
For a photo montage with CS5, I create a 10*15 photo (300).
I open two photos. I copy and paste each photo onto my 10*15 photo.
There I can (manual transformation) rotate, enlarge my layers, but how do I crop?
Even better, how can I enforce the dimensions of the layer? For example, putting two photos 5*7.5 on my photo...
I hope I'm clear. Thank you!

hi, I just wanted to add that with the crop or selection tool, you can assign a fixed size at the top

instead of copy-pasting, use file import because your image will automatically fit the dimensions of the layer or new file created, and no ctrl + t will be needed, so if the width-height ratio of your layer is the same as your photo.
