I am reaching out to you because I received an email today from an unknown address reporting some serious matters concerning my privacy, and I would like to trace this email... Thank you in advance.

Hello, the best thing would be to file a complaint if these are truly threats or something that infringes on your privacy because it’s almost impossible to find, for example, someone's address or anything like that. So, if it's really something you consider serious, I strongly advise you to file a police report.

Hello, if the person's address is masked, you won't be able to find out that way! Report to your email host that you have been a victim of an email that tries to "demoralize" you! But to know exactly what to do, I recommend visiting the law/finance section of the site Comment ça Marche. It could also be a "tacky" and bad taste joke.

From the IP address, you can trace someone, I think.

Hello,

You alone will not be able to trace the person.

If these serious matters are punishable by law, you can report this to the police, who can request identification from the Internet Service Provider and obtain the person's information in order to file a complaint.

Yeah, another one who got duped with a webcam!!!!!!!

And besides, he's trying to trace an IP on a server located in the States, lol!!!!!
So, did you find out where the email came from?????????
I’m convinced that you undressed in front of your cam, and that the "girl" is demanding money from you, otherwise she’ll post the video!!!

Well, anyway, I kind of lost my cool, but I have something; your last email proves at least that you've got something in it... In the meantime, still no solutions... If anyone has something, I'm always open to suggestions... Thanks in advance... Moreover, this ?;/§:/: deleted his email today, I tried to reply to him but it bounced back undelivered... He has hay fever, and I assure you he's got something!!! Even if he's a taekwondo champion... LOL. (A little humor)...

The person can delete their email account, but in reality, it's fictitious, virtual; nothing is actually deleted, the traces remain. You can simplify this by contacting the email support and explaining what is happening to you while providing them with that person's email address.
