Audio device issue Solved/Closed

Question

Hello everyone, I would like to present my problem in the hope that someone will find a solution. For over 10 days, there has been no sound coming from my computer. In Device Manager, my sound card is activated (I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, but it hasn't changed anything). However, in Control Panel, Sound and Audio Devices, it shows "No Audio Device" and everything is grayed out, so I can't modify anything. Therefore, I have neither playback nor recording devices... I checked the BIOS, everything seems normal. I admit I'm quite lost. Thank you in advance for your insights.

You can try this:
In the Device Manager, uninstall and remove everything related to audio.
Then restart the PC. It will then reinstall everything.
Sometimes, this can be sufficient...

Thank you for everything. I solved the problem by launching msconfig, normal startup, then I went back to selective startup and it works!

Hello everyone!

I also have a problem with an audio controller that is not being detected at all; Windows indicates that it does not exist and, therefore, I cannot install the driver!

Knowing that I bought a Toshiba Satellite P100-478, and it had Windows Vista, which I reformatted to install Win XP.

So if anyone has a solution, that would be super nice, thank you!

Hello everyone,
here is my problem, I just bought a Mio P550 pocket PC but as soon as I connect it to the USB port, a message appears saying "Device not recognized". Sometimes it recognizes it, but after 30 seconds it disconnects
So updates are impossible. In short, I bought the device on 07/20 and on 07/28 I feel like throwing it out the window. Thank you for your help. M.JOAN

I have the same problem regarding audio devices.
I have a Toshiba Equium A110-233 and in the recording volume control mixer device in Windows, I only have the mic volume and the CD volume as volume controls.
I need stereo mixing, so if any of you can help me, that would be great.

this one allows transforming a PCI device into an audio device ... and modem ...
you then need to point to the drivers provided by Toshiba on their support site (modem and audio)

it worked perfectly on the Satellite P100-478

Hello everyone
I have a huge and terrifying problem with my computer:
there is no sound at all, yet when I put on my headphones, I can hear sounds but as soon as I remove them, nothing.
Everything seems to be in order though.
Also, my speakers are built into my computer, so I have no way of checking if they are defective.
