    You can, and it's legal.
    You just need to register on the Bouygues website and choose to create a Hotspot space on your Box.
    Then you will receive an ID and BBox password, similar to Freebox and SFR/Neufbox, and you will be able to connect to the neighbor's Hotspot :)

    Hi,

    Are you from Belgium?
    Because in Belgium, you can't connect to another Bbox! Unless there's no password, but you shouldn't sign up on a website.

    If it's in France, I think you can, but I'm not knowledgeable about that; I'm Belgian.

      No, in any "sector," you cannot connect to the neighbors' network.
      You can only do so if they give you the WEP/WPA codes.

      That is not the case for "Nouga116" ^^.

      And if the neighbors don’t know someone is connecting to their network (if he manages to connect),
      he is risking a lot ;) !

      Here in Belgium, we can legally connect to the wifi network of those who do not protect it. There is absolutely no risk at all! Because it is their responsibility to put a protection or not. However, it is illegal to access a secured wifi without the owner's permission.

    I'm not Belgian but French, and I promise you that the technician assured me when I signed up on a website that I could connect to my neighbor's Bbox because in all internet connections there's a public part and a private one, so I'm pretty sure it's possible.

    I'm rather laughing when I see this.
    You can in no case take your neighbor's connection.
    Only if he runs an ethernet cable from his place to yours (which is impossible ^^)

    Or if he gives you the WPA/WAP codes (only this solution).

    But generally, a bbox technician never offers to connect to neighbors' networks ^^ (loss of clients... ^^)
