Customizable x-axis (months) in excel

Hello,
I have a table that represents several values for the months of January and September of several years.
But when I create a chart (stacked histogram), the x-axis also shows other months that are not in my table and therefore do not have an associated histogram....
I tried to modify parameters in the chart options, but I cannot make only the months listed in my table appear!
I don't understand, I've already made several charts in Excel, and I've never encountered this problem...
Does anyone have a solution for me?

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0
