Hello,

I'm working on a chart where the x-axis values are not numeric but text. However, when I plot the chart, there are numeric values on the x-axis while I want text instead.

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,
Have you chosen a "line" or "curve" type chart? And not a scatter plot?

I had the same problem, thanks for the tip, tontong. The only downside is that in my application, connecting the dots between the different abscissas (even in the same columns) doesn't really make sense. But oh well, we'll make do ;)

Indeed, the type of chart is very important in this situation. And if you still want a chart without connected points, just click on all the points of the chart, go to the “Format” tab, select the “Outline” option, and click on “No outline” and the line connecting the points will disappear :)

I have been struggling for 2 hours to create a scatter plot with text on the x-axis, without finding any solutions. Your solution works perfectly and is very simple, thank you!!
