Restoration of a Sony HMK-70 Turntable

Hello everyone,

So here it is, I am new to the forum and I need help!
I just returned from vacation at my grandfather's place and he showed me a turntable from the brand Sony model HMK-70, it's a turntable with a radio and a cassette player.

The big problem is that once the speaker is connected, nothing comes out and I don't quite understand the system behind it.

If someone could help me, that would be very nice.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.1

    Well, it's a vintage "hifi system," the stylus might be faulty, if you put a 45/33/78 RPM record and the speaker doesn't produce any sound, then you need to change the stylus.

    So it’s not just for the discs.. No sound comes out when I turn on the radio or a cassette. Now I’m wondering if my grandfather properly connected the cable with the DIN 41529 plug because that’s the first time I’ve seen this.. Can I upload a photo here to show you a bit because I’m not really managing.. :-/ Logically, we should connect two speakers but next to that, there’s like a small transistor, well I don’t know what it’s called ISS and you choose either Speaker A or B.. Can we connect both at the same time or not?

    And then I have another question.. What is the diameter of the belt for the turntable because it’s broken with age..
