      Hi Daegalen, I assume you've seen it, but I recently discovered Le vieux fusil, and it's actually a pure revenge movie; it's really good!

      Hello roboConan. I had forgotten about that one, but indeed it's an excellent revenge film with Philippe Noiret at his best.
      The quality of French films has really dropped in recent years, when you see what we were capable of.

      To each their own, but for me, Taken and Justice for All... are entertaining, nothing more.

      Oh really, you think so! Well, to each their own ;) But for me, they're the best in the action, suspense, and revenge genre ;) If you really have something better, because on your list there are only 2 or 3 that I take note of ;)

    I know 3 or 4 movies that involve revenge (but it's not really mean revenge). Never Back Down (the main character gets really beaten up and learns to fight for revenge), Steppin (at the end of a battle, the main character's brother gets shot), Steppin 2 (I don't remember very well). And Rogue (two friends are on a mission and one gets killed. The other one searches for his killer, but the killer doesn't really have an identity; he changes his face every six months...).

      Rogue is really not bad, Never Back Down too, but it's more action-oriented
      ;) TAKEN 2 is coming out soon, still with Liam Neeson ;) I can't wait!
