Hello, please,
impossible to find the address of CFCA MOBILE
it's an insurance subscribed with ORANGE when signing up for an iPhone,
this insurance costs me 9 euros per month,
but I have not been a subscriber with Orange since April 2011.
The salespeople tell me they don’t know the address,
I continue to be charged 9 euros every month since April without being able to reach them to cancel...
the phone has also been broken and in the trash since April 2011
Does anyone know the address of this insurance? I can't find it online either
Can I stop the automatic payment?
Thank you

Maxence

It would be extremely curious if you did not have a document from this insurance company... Taking out insurance is independent of the contract signed with the service provider of the phone contract... even if you subscribed to it at the same time.

You can only cancel your contract at the end of the term (like for a car insurance contract) or upon the sale of your phone... It is the phone and its use that are guaranteed, not the plan that binds you to the operator.

However, if your contract is still active, it might be an opportunity to use it for your broken phone... Refer to your contract to verify that you indeed meet the conditions of the guarantee and what you are entitled to... (generally it is a lump sum reimbursement of a certain amount)

    There is one address:
C.F.C.A. Compagnie Française de Courtage d'Assurances
Head office: rue Cervantès 33700 MERIGNAC.

But if you do not have your contract number, it will not be easy to get recognized.

      Hello,

You need to write a cancellation letter mentioning the Chatel law, because from what I understand, you have never received any letter from them to renew the contract.
They are therefore in the wrong. I had the same problem...
I canceled and they refunded me for the current month; I didn’t want to take further steps, but it is possible to recover several months depending on the case.

      Good luck.

YES, THEY ARE IN MERIGNAC IN GIRONDE. WHY DON'T WE CREATE A PETITION AGAINST THIS INSURANCE AND I'LL TAKE CARE OF SENDING IT TO THE FRAUD SERVICE?

Hello, yes, I have an issue with this insurance. I was charged 72 euros, a clear theft, because I did not subscribe to this insurance when I purchased my phone from Orange. I am sending them a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.

    Hello,
I have been paying an insurance (CFCA) since 2010 for a phone that I haven't had since 2011. I thought the insurance was linked to the operator and therefore to the current phone!
There has been no contract renewal letter either...
There is mention of a petition above, where can I find it? How can I find out if there is any legal action being taken against them?
Can I initiate a procedure for 2 years of contribution for nothing in the end?
I finally join all these testimonies and am ready to take collective action to put an end to this!
Thank you for your responses, see you soon.

      Hello,

      I am appalled....
And unfortunately also a victim of CFCA.

When I bought a phone at an Orange store, I was offered a CFCA insurance for €9 a month.
I don’t have a contract for CFCA... I thought it was included with the Orange subscription contract, but it isn’t...

This phone went into the toilet in September, and of course, it’s not covered by the insurance. I had to replace it at the Orange store.
The salesperson assured me that the insurance contract would automatically stop since the insured phone no longer existed.

Still being charged to this day and determined to cancel the contract, I called CFCA.
Response: you can only cancel at the end of the contract, which is August 2014!!!
The fact that the phone no longer exists does not allow for cancellation. They want a return or exchange receipt from Orange.

No renewal letter either and regarding the Chatel law, they dodge the issue by talking about a group insurance which they claim is not subject to it...

In the meantime, I am being charged €9 every month.

What can I do? Can I stop the payment?

I am also open to a petition and why not go further. €9 or €12 a month multiplied by 10,000 dupes makes a nice sum for them.

      Let’s stop being sheep...!!!!

      Hello,

Without wanting to overstep, it is my view that for the person mentioned above who would be ready to initiate proceedings against this fraudulent insurer, it would also be appropriate to bring Orange in as an accessory.

Given that they marketed this insurance product directly in their points of sale, they cannot deny that they trained their sellers to sell this insurance, and therefore they could be guilty of complicity.

Complicit, as I believe that a large company like Orange - regardless of its situation and the difficulties exposed in the media - must have a process for selecting and referencing its suppliers/professionals (I cannot define CFCA's position in relation to Orange). This must certainly fall under their supplier/professional audit and quality assurance procedures...

Furthermore, I doubt that Orange offers CFCA the opportunity to market a financial product (the insurance contract here) for free without taking a commission...
We can also see CFCA as a peripheral service offered by Orange, and in this case, the doubt is alleviated, Orange is guilty of complicity!

I would be delighted to be informed here of any actions taken or underway...

Thank you in advance for your response!!

      Hello Emeline,
Where are you with your démarches?
I know the same problem: phone lost in the toilet, changed, then in August 2014 a change of phone (iPhone).
      Thank you Eduardo

    Hello,
It frequently happens that a company contacts us to moderate certain comments it considers defamatory, which is the case with this company at the moment.

To prevent this inconvenience from happening again, we ask you to respect the charter and to be particularly meticulous when writing your discussions:

    - no insulting terms (crooks, thieves, etc.)
    - stick to your own experience and facts for which you have tangible evidence
    - avoid value judgments and generalizations
    - never post on a forum the identity or any other private information of a person without their consent.

These few precautions help preserve the quality of exchanges while limiting the risks of moderation and, for both you and us, the inconveniences of legal proceedings, and a possible closure of the forum for a few thoughtless words used without reflection.

    Thank you for your understanding

      Hello,
Another victim a bit too naive. Yes, I got fooled, I’m with the same service provider mentioned earlier and I changed my phone, I got an iPhone in December 2015 but I absolutely do not remember taking that insurance (cfca) which was offered to me (to verify and confirm). Nonetheless, this morning I checked my bank account and found that I was debited: sepa Cfca, for the very first time!, an amount of 24 euros without ever having provided an IBAN or an authorization for debit or anything else, that’s for sure. But that would mean that my operator provided my bank details, right? I don’t understand? Does anyone have a lead, otherwise I’ll take the Merignac route and I won’t go with cookies.

Exactly the same situation, according to Orange they are unaware and do not see what I'm talking about. I'm writing a letter to cfca and I'm going to write one to Orange.

      Good evening,

I am in the same situation as all of you. In January 2013, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, of course, from Orange. They offered me insurance for €12 a month, which I signed (big mistake).
Since then, I have been charged every month, but it's been a little while since I left Orange.

If I block the payments, is there a risk that I will receive a letter from them?

    Hello,
I would like to know where you are with your procedures because I also took out insurance for a phone purchased from Orange... same company, no contract, phone lost in the toilet, bought a new one and finally this month changed phones (iPhone).
In what order did you carry out your procedures, please?
    Thank you, Eduardo

Hello, I took out insurance for €12 a month for my Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and I've broken it twice in two different ways. It has never been repaired by them, supposedly because it's not covered under their terms. If you start a petition, please let me know; I want to participate because with the subscription plus the €350 for repairs, I'm at a total of €638.

      Hello,

Have you received any news from that insurance? It's impossible to reach them, and Orange is leaving us in the lurch too! I've been charged €3 every month for two years.

If you know the phone number or an email address I could contact, please let me know.

Thank you, have a good evening.

I am also a sheep who has been paying 9 euros a month since I believe 1998, I might be their oldest client.
I paid my bank, Crédit Agricole, to block withdrawals,
      it worked...
then I changed banks 7 years ago and they found me to keep charging me. Never received a letter, no other contact from them.
I am about to send a registered letter to stop everything and request a refund...
      I will keep you updated...

I also just noticed a withdrawal of 6 euros from Cfca. I just read that it can be canceled under the Châtel law either at the expiration date or under the Hamon law. The problem is that I have no contract, so I can't know my expiration date.

I am also one of the suckers who paid 12 euros for over a year, and when my phone was broken, CFCA found a way not to refund me. AVOID!!

CFCA MOBILE INSURANCE is truly to be avoided. I strongly advise against this insurer. In a few words: I bought a phone for my son, who was 13 at the time. I paid for three years at a rate of 6 euros per month. When it came time to report a claim, I did so. I was told: Oh, but it’s you who broke the phone, not your son, so it doesn’t work. Well no, it wasn’t me. So, stay away. They probably will never reimburse you. They are punctual when it comes to collecting payments; much less so for the promised guarantees.

They have this phone number: 05.56.18.19.75. They are easy to reach.
