Hello,

After my previous laptop fell apart, I've been looking for a good laptop to run WoW for a few months now.
Here's what I found, but feel free to suggest others (my budget does not exceed 600 euros!)

-> ASUS X72F-TY134V-BE 17.3"

Intel Pentium P6100 (2.0 GHz)
3072MB DDR3
320GB HDD
17.3" LED, 1600x900
Intel GMA HD

I think it's terrible :) but I'm actually referring to local stores. Do you recommend other ideas? Should I order online or what?

Thank you very much!

Blizzard's policy regarding WoW: "It must work on all PCs"
The game's engine has not changed since the game's release, so if you buy a laptop, you have a 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999% chance of being able to play WoW

The one you mentioned will have no problem doing so.

    Hello,

but can you recommend other ideas?
The problem with the one you propose is that it has a low-performance processor, the RAM is a bit below the minimum (3 GB), and especially, an Intel HD graphics chipset that won’t allow you to run games properly..

Within your budget, I suggest this: http://www.templeinformatique.fr/ASUS-Ordinateur-portable-K53SJ-SX088V

Here you have an ASUS product that is said to be "Official" because it comes with a 2-year warranty with pickup and return on-site, a much better processor (new generation), 4 GB of RAM, 640 GB hard drive, a dedicated memory GT 520M graphics card, mouse, and bag..

With this PC, you can use it without any problem for your needs..

Well, it’s certain that he won’t be able to run GTA IV with the PC he suggests, but there’s no problem for WoW.
And 3GB of RAM is already pretty decent.

Otherwise, there's also Dell for putting together a nice custom PC.

Thank you very much for your advice, and thank you Antho!

But it turns out that now that I have a job lined up for July and a big influx of money, I am leaning towards this: Mac Book Pro.

    Here are the details
    : Intel Core i5
    dual-core at 2.3 GHz
    4GB at 1,333 MHz
    320 GB
    Intel HD graphics 3000

There you go, even with your opinions that will surely help me a lot, I think these specs are almost perfect for me!
Just a little detail, I'm aiming for the 13-inch because the 15-inch is a bit too expensive, is playing a game like (let's take the same one) wow not too "annoying" on a 13? Considering I was playing on a 17 before :p

Thanks again and always for your future help and responses,

    Papadim!

      Hi,

Too expensive, poor configuration, little disk space, etc.

What is your new maximum budget?

Having heard about the benefits of a good Mac, just to own one and also because it runs well, Wow, I decided to treat myself and get a good PC that will last!

My budget is bigger now, the MacBook Pro was a splurge since I was planning to spend almost all I was going to earn to get this gem :) And since Wow runs easily on PCs and the Mac, especially the Pro, has good specs (at least I thought so :p ...), I decided to get it. My budget is now over €600 :)
