Good evening,
I once again need your help.
When I shut down my PC, I always get the same error message regarding the Windows DDE server not responding... terminate now or cancel. Whether I choose terminate now or cancel, it comes to the same thing, and I don't even know what it is related to. I haven't noticed any malfunctions caused by this message, but since I am relatively perfectionist, I would like to know what it's about and especially for it to no longer appear. I searched the internet and found nothing - at least nothing I could understand - Thank you for your kind help.
See you soon.
Muriel

Yes, it comes from Explorer when we change the homepage to a blank page or something else, it disappears!

this comes from Internet Explorer issues,
you reset your Internet Explorer and then you put your provider in place of the pre-programmed address
keep me updated
it worked for me

By disabling the nVidia Desktop Manager, the same problem was solved for me... Why? A mystery!
If you have an nVidia, you should definitely try disabling it as well... -
hi
if you have an email notifier remove it for me it worked like that /
a notifier like gmail notifier. -
I have the same problem sometimes, and being quite a perfectionist myself, I would also like to know why my PC does that?

Maybe the solution is here:
http://forum.telecharger.01net.com/forum/high-tech/LOGICIELS/Windows-XP/erreur-serveur-windows-sujet_337462_1.htm -
I followed the procedure and found everything "DDE network"
"DSDM DDE network" this one is not the "DDE server windows"
how to retrieve it -
I have the same problem and I've tried everything, even disabling the "nVidia", but it doesn't change anything. My PC is slowing down, I can't turn it off normally and it's really annoying!!
If someone can help me... THANKS in advance
