Hello,
I just bought a new PC, so I have Windows 7, and in the bottom right next to my antivirus there's an icon called hotkey utility v2.5. I would like to know what it's for, thanks.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.5.18

The FN key is located next to Ctrl (bottom left).
The "X" keys are all the keys that feature a character or a small symbol in a color different from that of the letters and numbers on the keyboard.
Function keys (F1, F2, F3 ... F12) often carry symbols that show you the role of that key when pressed together with the FN key.
The keys vary from one computer model to another.
On my computer, for example, the F5 key has a full sun symbol, and the F6 key has a hollow sun. I know that if I press FN+F5 I increase the brightness of my screen. FN + F6, on the other hand, decreases it.
Read your computer's manual to know the function of all these small keys that work with the FN key ;)
