Hello,
Since last Wednesday, my antivirus Avast Family Edition is preventing me from accessing various sites like Google, Europe 1, my banking site, ...
It is also preventing me from retrieving my emails on my neuf-telecom addresses.
It was working perfectly until now!!!
Is it a virus database update that changed something?
Does anyone have the same problem?
Is there a setting to adjust on the software?
Thank you in advance for any guidance that could help me resolve this issue.
I am using Windows XP Home, SP1, Mozilla Firefox, Foxmail

You need to remove the port 80 redirection in Avast.
In the "Summary" tab, click on "Modify settings"
Go to the "Troubleshooting" tab, at the bottom, click on the "Redirection settings" menu
In the "WEB" window, replace the ports:
80,8080,8091,8081,8008,8888,3124,3127,3128
with
8080,8091,8081,8008,8888,3124,3127,3128
Click on OK
It works...
Be careful not to confuse this kind of issue with a problem of a PC on a static IP with poorly configured DNS servers!

But I wanted to know if it doesn't interfere with the protection of my computer?
