Cover of Vampire Diaries Volume 4

Hi!
So for me, it's Shinishi. It seems the most logical to me.
Volume 1 is Stefan, volume 2 is Elena, volume 3 is Damon, volume 4 is Shinishi, and volume 5 is probably Misao given the cover...
There you go.

for me the characters are:

volume 1: Stefan
volume 2: Elena
volume 3: Damon
volume 4: Sage
volume 5: Princess Jessalyn
volume 6: Meredith
volume 7: Zander

I have been asking myself this question since I started reading these books.. If anything, the covers may not be meant to represent specific characters, but if that's the case, I think they represent:

Volume 1: Stefan, because even though he's supposed to have green eyes, if it's not him, he is never represented, which wouldn't make sense since he's one of the main characters.
Volume 2: Elena/Katherine, no doubt about it.
Volume 3: Damon, of course: he's the only brunette with black eyes, and his representation nicely completes the trio.
Volume 4: Now I'm struggling to see.. Damon is the closest, except his eyes should be black. It can't be Sage because if I remember correctly, he has long blonde hair. Nor can it be Shinishi because his hair has red tips, and the character on the cover doesn't seem demonic (besides, I don't believe Shinishi has brown eyes..)
Volume 5: It's not Bonnie, because she has curly hair and brown eyes. It's not Caroline, we don't see her anymore. It's not Misao either because she has dark hair with red tips like her brother. So the only ones left are the red-haired sentinel with green eyes or Princess Jessalyn, but neither seems important enough in the story to be represented on the cover... Mystery.
Volume 6: Maybe Meredith, even if it doesn't quite match her description, she's the character that comes closest.
Volume 7: Matt. I believe he's the only blonde, aside from Sage, but he doesn't look at all like the Sage described in the books.
Volume 8: Bonnie, no doubt about it! She indeed has curly red hair and brown eyes.

Volume 4: Damon he's better this way ;)!
Volume 5: I'm almost sure it's the goddess Kitsune Inari or the sentinel at the celestial court :)

I'M SURE OF MY ANSWERS/:
Volume 1: Stephan
Volume 2: Katrine (I'm sure because the subject of the 2 is mainly about her)
Volume 3: Damon
Volume 4: Damon as a child (you know, it's the little boy in chains)
Volume 5: The sentinel (because Bonnie has longer and curly hair)

The fourth volume cannot be Damon because he has black eyes and in the fourth volume the person has brown eyes.

I agree with your response on a few points.

The character in volume 4 remains a mystery... Maybe it's once again Damon, but that would be strange...
However, volume 7! It's Zander! Bonnie's werewolf! Matt isn't present enough to be represented....

The blood stains belong to those who are vampires, and in volume 7, there is a werewolf (Zander), so he is a bit violent, and in volume 4, I think it's wise.

For me it's Stefan, Elena, Damon, Matt or Sage (Shinishi with black hair and red tips) and Bonnie, given her red hair and not black with red tips. I also checked various sites, and someone mentioned that for book 5, they read on the official site that it was indeed Bonnie.

And Volume 4 mainly talks about Damon.
Volume 5: it can't be Bonnie on the cover; the girl has green eyes, Bonnie has brown. Nor Misao who has black hair.

I say, why do some have bloodstains and others don't? Could it be that those who have blood are not human, and those with blood are vampires?
