Hello,
For the past few days, when I turn on my PC (Packard Bell Easynote SJ81) 17 inches, I see small red stripes on the screen, and when I lower or raise the lid, the screen goes back to normal
When I raise the lid, fine little red lines appear, so I wanted to know what the problem is; I think it's the video card that's acting up or the screen
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 4.0

Hi,
There are several causes that could lead to your problem. Try testing with an external monitor. This way, it will eliminate the hypothesis of a defective graphics card.
But in my opinion, it's certainly the screen connectors that must be causing issues.

no, it's no longer under warranty
I tried connecting it via HDMI to my TV and it works perfectly
I think I'm going to change the connector of the screen to see -
It is also possible that it is just the cable that is slightly unplugged. At that point, it would be enough to take it apart and check.
