Hello, there’s an option for my ATI graphics card and I would like to know what ULPS means? Thank you ^^

Hello,
according to the information found, ULPS stands for 'Ultra Low Power State'
it allows to save even more battery on a laptop when the graphics card is not activated. -
It may harm the overclocking
if you have noticed it, please let me know what it changes in the obtained frequencies
otherwise, do the tests with and without ULPS
because there is no mention of ULPS anywhere in the Sapphire documentation (link message 5), provide more information:
what exact GPU do you have? there are several HD 6870 models on the Sapphire site
where is the ULPS setting? in the CCC (Catalyst Control Center)? in a third-party software? -
So for me, it's useless? It's overclocked and it's a desktop PC? ^^

Maybe it helps for sleep mode?
What is your PC? Your graphics card? -
my PC is built overall my configuration:
asus m4a87td evo
amd phenom2 955
graphics card ati Sapphire 6870 1go -
I do not see ULPS in the Sapphire documentation:
https://www.sapphiretech.com/en
The term that resembles it is "Dynamic Power Management", which according to Sapphire allows for "ultra-low power consumption in idle mode". -
it might harm the overclocking :/ I don’t know what to do about disabling it for now, my ATI 6870 graphics card is at 1050/1270 when it was originally 900/1050.

I have a Sapphire, if you want to overclock, use the Trixx software. I'm currently running at 1050/1250 clock speed without ULPS.

Yes, after researching, this setting only appears in Sapphire TriXX
but it would have been nice if you had mentioned it from the beginning, it avoids wasting time^^
with my Sapphire HD 5850, it doesn't change anything at all for the o/c whether I enable or disable the ULPS...
See you!-

What kind of 6870 do you have? Mine runs at 50% with Futuremark because I have version 4 of TriXX. What's your score in Futuremark?
Here is my validation with GPU-Z

What version of 6870 do you have?
I have a Sapphire HD 5850 (see message 9)
I have version 4 of TriXX
Where did you download it? If I go to the Sapphire website:
https://www.sapphiretech.com/en
it clearly says at the top of the list v4.0, but once installed, it says v3.0.7 at the top left under the T of TRIXX
Please check your version. -
