I would like to convert an animation that I made from gif to video format.
(preferably on Windows)

Hello,
I know how to convert a gif to video; it's very simple. For that, you need the WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER software. As soon as you click on import photos, you take your gif and put it in the blue bar at the bottom. If you want, you can add music to your gif or leave it silent. You can attach it to one of your videos, and then once you're done, you click on file/save movie file, and you have it in avi.

  Can I ask you which blue bar? I can't find it :( and I'm stuck, I've tried a lot of things to convert my gifs into videos, but the only software that works puts a big ugly watermark in the middle. If you tell me that Movie Maker works, I just want to know where your blue bar is!

Hello,

For my part, I made a video capture of my animated gif. It's much easier that way.

Software used for the capture: CamStudio (free and easy to use)

  It’s tough right now, I think you’re a bit aware of the mp4 problems post.. video-music .amv and my chat with Dione.
  I’m in the same situation as Dione but waiting for bad news.
  My spirits aren't high, I often go to the café to recharge but I can’t seem to write a message, I’m just not feeling it.
  I miss my little one and I would really need to get some fresh air, but thankfully I have a wonderful and understanding wife who lets me surf on CCM.
  Anyway, a walk by the sea with my wife, dog, and swimming does me good (27° yesterday) beautiful country and if you come to visit by bike or other means, there’s room for you, your bike and anything else if there’s a connection.

Hello Manu2776,
if you still haven't managed the conversion,
and if you haven't completely given up...
the simplest thing is to "redo" your animation, directly in video.
either you haven't thrown anything away (directly step 2), or you only have the animated gif left...
that said, I completely agree with him

  False, obviously. It is even possible to do it without software (to convert from avi to gif), for example by taking screenshots. There are tons of software that allow you to do it.
