Good evening,

I have several questions regarding OpenOffice, here they are:

1- I would like to display my phone number, but when I enter my phone number, the 0 disappears. How can I prevent it from disappearing?

2- How do I set up a layout in OpenOffice?

3- How can I raise the "ère" or "ème" a little bit above?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Configuration: Nvidia 8600 GT ;
ACER CPU E5200 ;
4GB MEMORY ;
1 TB HDD
Ubuntu 9.10

    Good evening
    For the phone in the Spreadsheet http://ioj.com/v/qm7v4
    For eme or ere a little above in Writer and Spreadsheet
    You type 1ere, you select ere and http://ioj.com/v/5456z
    For the layout, what exactly do you want to do?

      Thank you very much, I managed (thanks to you) to solve my first 2 problems.
      Now my CV looks a bit more like something :)

      For the layout, I just want to scale the content to fit an A4 sheet; in Excel it's easy, I just need to click on File > Page Setup, but I haven't found how to do it in OpenOffice.

      You're welcome and it's my pleasure

      Uh, what you're showing me doesn't fit my text to the A4 sheet.

      Let me explain, I made a resume but my resume slightly exceeds the A4 sheet; I would like to format it so that it automatically fits the sheet size.

      When you typed your resume, was that sheet in A4 format like the link I sent you?

      Yes, it was already like that.

    For the phone number, see Oo's wiki:
    https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/FR/FAQ/Base/101

    As for the rest, it's a bit late.

    See you tomorrow.

      It's nothing, but I don't understand why my response has been marked with a -1. Lol.
      Sure, it's not complete (at 1:23 in the morning it's a bit hard to answer everything), but it's not wrong. And as far as I know, Oo's wiki is still a reference.

    Good evening

    Are you sure you’re talking about PowerPoint?

      Oops, sorry, I confused OpenOffice and PowerPoint.

      I'm talking about the OpenOffice spreadsheet.
      Thank you for your intervention, I'm waiting for your help.

    Good evening,

    If it's in the spreadsheet, by right-clicking on the cells and then 'cell format…', you should find a 'phone' format.
    Otherwise, you can use a custom format: 0000000000
    I can't guide you further; I don't have Open Office but Excel
