Hello everyone,
For a while now, I've been receiving totally empty emails: no sender address, no subject, and of course nothing in the body of the message either.
Can anyone explain how this happens?
So obviously, I try to be smart, I look at the source of the message, and there I find information that I don't know how to use.
To show you the thing, here's the source of the last one I received:
(I've masked my personal address)
-------------------------------------------begin--------------------------------------------------
X-T2-Real-To: <thisismypersonaladdress@tele2.fr>
Return-Path: <qnni1kqkng@infoconex.com>

X-KMail-MDN-Sent:

I'm not sure that the addresses appearing are valid; after all, if one can hide the sender, why couldn't one also hide their own address or change it???
Some clarifications:
1°) I have a dynamic address provided by my ISP (tele2).
2°) I'm using Linux debian sarge (3.1) kernel 2.6.8-2-686.
3°) I'm using Kmail 1.7.2 under KDE 3.3.2.
Thanks to anyone who can help.
Philippe

me too, it's been happening to me for... let's say about 4 or 5 days. And it worries me.
Could it be a virus?

Good evening,
I’ve been having the same issue for a few days. An additional element is that I feel like every email is timestamped with the time I open my mail manager... Strange!
If anyone has any other ideas...
See you!

I have the same problem since last night with my Hotmail account under Thunderbird.
However, when I check via LiveMail, I do have corresponding non-empty emails.
I think there's an issue with retrieving these emails, but I don't know what it is.
If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it... ^^

Same problem as B@loo. I had the famous "negative vibes" in Thunderbird, so I updated the webmail extension and since then when I try to retrieve my emails they are completely empty, no body, no sender, no subject... If anyone knows how to fix the problem, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Absolutely not a spammer for me. I place an order. I am sent a link that I do not have since the email is empty. But the seller sends me a screenshot confirming that my virtual delivery has been made. I've been struggling for 5 days... Help????
