I would like to have the driver for the HP Deskjet 3650 printer.

    Hi, I also have this HP Deskjet 3650 that until now I had only used without problems on 2000 or 2003 Server...
    Now I just want to install it on an XP, I have the original CD, I even went to get the driver from HP for peace of mind...

    During the installation, I make sure not to connect the printer until it's requested... when I'm asked to connect it, I do but it's never detected...
    That's for the standard install...

    When I try to install it a bit more "manually," the USB port does not appear in the list of available printer ports...

    Now, after all the attempts I've made... I even had to install 98 drivers in case I had to install all the INF files I saw... I'm at a point where I'm wondering if it's still possible to install this printer under XP...

      If your printer is a Deskjet 3650..... the links to the drivers are in the posts above the <15> among others
      If it is not a Deskjet 3650, open a new message in the software/drivers forum specifying your OS and the printer references...

        To download, you need to go to the HP website... the lead is given in the previous messages....

        Procedure...
        Create a special folder on the desktop for this occasion.... (Toto for example)
        Unplug your printer (the cable between the PC and the printer....
        Go to the HP website and choose the drivers based on your OS...(I don't know what you have: XP Vista)
        ==> http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=304535&lc=en&cc=fr&dlc=fr&lang=fr&cc=fr
        Click on download...
        Choose save, it will ask you where ??, provide the path to "Toto"
        Once the download is complete...
        Open "Toto" and double-click on the file you find there...
        This will start the installation...
        Plug in the printer when prompted.....

        Note for Vista, no drivers needed, just plug in the printer and that's it... a utility exists if you need it...
