How to apply a power (-n) in Excel

Bonjour,

I would like to insert a mortgage calculation formula in Excel, for that I need to write a negative exponent n.
How do I do that?

I want to write: 10^-n but when I do it Excel does not recognize it.

    Hello,

    Remember a little of your math lessons ;)

    10^-n = 1/10^n

    EDIT: I just tested 10^-5 for example, it works on my Excel 2003
