CAPS LOCK Keyboard

Hello
I have been encountering the following bug with my keyboard for some time:
it types in uppercase instead of lowercase
if I want to select a specific point on a page, it selects all the text that is above
when I need to click on "next" and it activates a javascript window, it doesn't work anymore

or another description of my problem:

uppercase letters make lowercase and vice versa. For selecting an icon, it does the same thing as previously with the text. The numeric keypad is not working anymore, and characters like "@" | # ~" do not work either. Using the back scroll wheel launches a page....

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop

I have tried everything, even French/Belgium etc.... I can't take it anymore, nothing changes, it stays like this....
PLEASE HELP ME, I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!

Hello Marie,

I had a pretty similar problem: uppercase and lowercase letters inverted, text selection instead of jumping to a specific point, and other strange behaviors.
It seems that the [right shift] key (the big upward arrow) on my keyboard was stuck without being pressed down. I pressed it several times and the problem stopped.

From what I see, you have several PCs because this one is working. I had the same problem; it was due to a driver that had a bad update, so I rolled back to the previous version, and it works like before.

Ah well no, no other PC, I have to press Shift to make lowercase...Exactly to revert to the previous update, thank you very much for explaining that to me.

Hi!  For the uppercase issue, try pressing the key that looks like a lock.  For the others, change the driver.

Hello,  I had the same problem as well. Actually, my keyboard switched to qwerty mode. You just need to press ALT and SHIFT at the same time.

Hi, for the uppercase issue, you just need to press the key with a lock icon for two seconds to toggle the function of the uppercase key, and the opposite to deactivate it.
