Hello

You cannot use the eraser to erase a word because that is not its function: it is used to erase what has been written with a pencil.

To erase a word, you can take a rectangle and set the border and fill properties to white if you are on a white background, of course.

Likewise, thank you for your perfectly effective advice; I was starting to despair of being able to remove a surcharge added by another trial version software!

Hello, I have exactly the same question and I had thought of exactly the same solution except that I can't seem to implement it... :-(
Where do you copy a white rectangle? in PowerPoint? in Excel? because I tried Excel and it doesn't work for me... Thank you!

Hello,

Where do you copy a white rectangle?
No, you create one with Pdf-XChange viewer.
You have it in the red bar, but you just need to modify the properties to get what you want, white without a border for example.

OK thanks :-) So it's indeed an additional software that I need to download, this PDF-Xchange viewer? It's not a feature that's present in Acrobat directly? Because since I use PDFs on my work laptop, I hope I won't have to ask for administrator rights.. :-)
Thank you!

Hello,

It seems to me that the subject title was clear enough, but I suppose you have an equivalent feature in Acrobat that I personally do not use.
