Hello,
I accidentally locked the touchpad ... Now I have an orange light on in the top left of the touchpad
I tried double-clicking on this orange light but nothing works!
What should I do?
Thank you in advance

You need to click on it twice, but neither too quickly nor too slowly, just to let you know ^^

You indeed need to go as claudegt says to the pointing device settings in the dropdown menu at the bottom right, then in pointing device properties, settings of the device, enable, then apply and ok.

Indeed, it works very well; you just need to tap twice on the little light, not too fast, not too slow, and it's very simple.

So great!
Thanks for the info! I was starting to get pissed off at the keyboard.

Thank you. I'm wondering what the point is of wanting to lock that and to put this thing that can really annoy you.

Good evening Hervé,
I was looking to lock my touchpad on the ProBook 4520s myself when I came across your message.
It was a great help since I was trying to double-click on the small white dot in the left corner of the pad, and I was surprised to see that little orange light turn on, indicating that the pad was locked.
Hats off to you, daring tester of the orange button.
Thanks to your tip, my day has brightened.
As for your problem, know that double-clicking the orange button turns it off for me. I can only advise you to keep trying.

Long live you, long live free Quebec, and long live the gay emperor penguins of Latin America.
