Hello,
I have a little issue with Outlook 2003 lately.
When I want to send a message to a distribution list, a group created with Outlook 2003, when I click send, the following message appears: "An unexpected error has occurred." And I can't send the message, and that's without any further explanations, strange... This message then goes into the Outbox and remains stuck there. However, when I click on my group to view the content of all my contacts, I get the message: "Cannot perform the requested operation. The selected command is not valid for this recipient. Operation failed."
It should be noted that I haven't changed anything in my configuration, I deleted my distribution group and created a new one, but nothing works. I hope you can help me out with this because my group has 57 contacts and I really don't want to click on 57 different contacts to send this email, especially since I often have about ten to send each day, so that makes a lot!!!
Thank you in advance.

I just had the same problem, and it was only because my mailing list had been changed. For some reason, I had two mailing lists with the same name, so I deleted the old one. So when I wanted to use it, I typed the first few letters and selected the name that the software suggested, but it suggested the old list that no longer existed.
To solve my problem, I went through my contacts list by clicking on "To: " and selected my mailing list from there. That was simply my problem.
If you have this problem, don't overthink it!

I deleted and recreated my distribution list and the issue has been resolved.
Thank you very much.
