Dvd shrink cyclic redundancy error

Hello everyone. I just downloaded DVD Shrink, but I have a small problem when extracting the data: an error message always appears at 33% of the encoding: "Failed to read file "D:\" Data error (cyclic redundancy check)" Thank you for helping me, that would be cool. See you later.

Hi, I searched for a while before finding out why I was also getting this message (cyclic redundancy)... I finally found the solution (nothing to do with your player, Lou the software), I also use DVD Shrink and it actually comes from the protection of the original DVD (having 2 kids, I don’t buy DVDs, I burn them for grandma & grandpa). So I downloaded the latest version (21-day free trial) of AnyDVD5.9.1.1 and there, miracle, no issues everything works perfectly with DVD Shrink. See you later!

Hello,

That's right, a protection like ArccOS often leads to this type of error.

DVDFab Decrypter offers the same kind of functionality as AnyDVD, in an unlimited and free way. It is also regularly updated.

The only small difference lies in the processing by DVD Shrink. Instead of loading a DVD present in the drive, we open the directory created by DVD Fab.

Hello Judex
I just went to the DVD Ab Decrypter site and at first glance, it seems to be paid after 30 days. Do you have a way to get it for free for life? Thanks for sharing it with me. Best regards.

Hello,

By using DVDFab HD Decrypter + DVD Shrink + ImgBurn, we have a free and effective suite for creating backups of DVDs.

CCM is really not the best place for this kind of trick (software piracy).

Hello,

I am replying to this sentence that is already over a year and 3 months old: [/ CCM] is really not the most suitable place for this kind of scheme (software hacking)

I won't comment on the appropriate place... in any case, I find myself in a situation where I have to hack myself to recover data marked with the "Cyclic Redundancy" seal.

That lying is necessary to ultimately talk about the same things often has the same effect on me: "BE HYPOCRITES, IT'S THE FUTURE OF MAN." Spare the goat and the cabbage, hoping that you are not a goat because you will have to spare Man. If you are a cabbage, you are doomed; you will end up in sauerkraut.

LoL

Well, it is true that some people have practiced hypocrisy for several generations, and that it dominates mediacracy... so, it may prove useful to engage in that kind of thing.
In Hacking there is still the word "failure"... with HI on top. It is true that for a well-trained robot, these are words that can cause short-circuits. To err is human.

Hello

Ben, your DVD is scratched or dirty... And if cleaning it doesn’t help, it’s a major physical defect and you have no chance of getting it out with shrink.... Maybe try it on another burner...

Hello,
your DVD Shrink is no longer working.
Get a better return on site or clone your DVDs.
Super Clone DVD is an excellent DVD copy software that easily makes high-quality DVD backups. The new burning technology can perfectly copy 1:1. It can intelligently identify the type of disc and display the copy modes on the interface for you to select. It now supports Blu-ray / HD DVD backup.

Hello,

if you have installed Any DVD, the problem should be resolved, right?

I can send you a tutorial via private email to go further if you still encounter issues.

If you're interested...

I had the same problem, which was resolved with a good disk clean-up.

Hello,

What does the DVD you are trying to rip contain? A recent movie? If so, is it already a copy or the original?

Hi, are you trying to copy original DVDs or those of your friends?
I've noticed that to play a DVD containing a copied movie on the TV, you have to start a one-minute copy and then stop it to resume normally until the end of the movie.
DVDSHRINK will recognize the DVD structure and copy it.
For your redundancy issues, it may be necessary to clean your media or simply your DVD is protected.

Hello,

If it's a movie, you can try ripping it with DVDFab Decrypter, and load the directory created by it into DVD Shrink.

http://www.dvdidle.com/en/free.htm

I have already managed to recover a damaged DVD that DVD Shrink refused to process, producing the same error message.

Hello,

Bad at computers, I don’t understand what you’re saying:

“If it’s a movie, you can try ripping it with DVDFab Decrypter and loading the directory created by it into DVD Shrink.

http://www.dvdidle.com/fr/free.htm

I’ve already managed to recover a damaged DVD that DVD Shrink refused to process by producing the same error message.”

I downloaded www.dvdidle.com and the movie has reached 100% (finished), what should I do next?
And what does it mean to rip with DVDFab Decrypter? Is there another link?
THANK YOU

Hello,

I don't understand what you proposed:

"If it's a movie, you can try ripping it with DVDFab Decrypter, and then load the directory created by it into DVD Shrink.

http://www.dvdidle.com/fr/free.htm

I have already managed to recover a damaged DVD that DVD Shrink refused to process, producing the same error message."

At first, I need to rip with DVDFab Decrypter, is that a different link from http://www.dvdidle.com/fr/free.htm or is it the same?
I only downloaded the link http://www.dvdidle.com/fr/free.htm and the action (?) was completed at 100% and after that, I don’t know what to do?
Thank you for your help.

I'll keep you updated and thank you :P

Hello, I have a problem when I use DVD Shrink. After 25 to 35%, my laptop shuts down. Do you know why? Thank you.

If your computer shuts down by itself, it's a safety measure that prevents your computer from overheating and burning its circuits. Make sure that the ventilation holes of your laptop are not obstructed and that the fan is working properly. A simple cleaning (done by specialists, highly recommended) of the fan can fix everything.

Hello,

when you leave your house one afternoon or before going to sleep, open - for example - Avast antivirus, have it perform a memory scan, then from the panel, in the top left corner click and choose the option "schedule a scan at startup", choose to scan (C) that should be enough. Then let it run, it will take between 30 minutes and two hours depending on the size of the partition.

After that, your problem might be resolved. Often this kind of glitch gets fixed like that. It's worth a try.

If it's not with Avast, it will be with your dedicated antivirus.

Good luck.

DVD Shrink is awesome!

Merci d'avance.

frankly, I'm surprised...

it's precisely because my IT guy uses it often that I've looked into it.

maybe you've used an older version. the one that didn't yet include "the x-tra assistant". but maybe you haven't needed to use it.

I'm surprised.

but I only use it if I really need to.

what don't you like about it? I'm interested.

best regards.

Here’s a redundancy repair tool for CD or DVD
It works every time ;)

It's because he can't get to KC the code when he attacks the main movie. The DVD needs to be decrypted.

Hello,
I just discovered a very simple trick for those who have stuck labels on their CDs or DVDs and who, like me, run into "cyclic redundancy". The label paper reacts to moisture or heat. Right now it's very hot, and I tried the experiment of soaking the CD in water to loosen the paper. Well, believe me if you want, it works!! However, I do it step by step because the paper dries quickly and needs to be re-soaked. But in the future, I won’t stick labels anymore...
Best regards
PS: don't forget to wipe the CD before playing it, of course! ;o))

Hello
I had this problem of cyclic redundancy 10 years ago, but it was not due to the data or dirt at my place. After some research, I noticed that each DVD with this error was burned from start to finish. I understood that you shouldn’t burn a DVD all the way to the edge; you need to leave an unburned safety margin. For 4.7 GB DVDs, I never exceed 4.2 GB, and since then, I haven't seen this issue again.

hi everyone

yes try using dvdfab decrypter but if the media is corrupted (too many scratches) you won't be able to rip it

dvdfab decrypter is mainly useful for bypassing the arccos protections of sony dvds, otherwise dvd decrypter is still just as good and faster for other dvds

Here it is... I succeeded perfectly... after putting the DVD on my computer I burned it with Ashampoo and it works :P

Good luck
