Hello,
I have a problem or not, I burned a movie and it worked, but when I want to make a copy for my mother with the one I made, it doesn't work anymore. Do you have an answer for me? Thanks, I have DVD Shrink 3.0216 and Nero 6.0, thanks

I suppose you're using Shrink to re-encode your movie, remove the bonus features, subtitles, etc. and especially to remove the protection.
Does Shrink indicate "cyclical redundancy" or something like that?

Yes, cyclic redundancy, it rarely happens that I do another one but I don't understand,

I had the same problem before "cyclic redundancy," which means Shrink doesn't recognize the media, even if your DVD is labeled. The solution is to download DVDFab Platinum; it does everything, it's a bit complicated, but you should be able to find it on the torrent "DVDFab Platinum 4.1.0.2 fr."

There is also the Gold version of DVDFab but also Alcohol 120%...

--Mmmmm you’re entering illegally here, and you know the rule

But for your information, it’s very hard to burn DVDs because several factors can affect whether it works or not

Anyway, I don’t think anyone here can advise you

It may be illegal to copy a DVD, but there's nothing easier to do; you just need the right software, it's child's play!

--I agree with you, it's child's play, but not with dvdshrink, it's too outdated, but the post asks us to make a copy of another copy, that's the illegality.

Sure, Shrink is outdated, but as long as he doesn't make it a business and it remains in the private domain
and a DVD for €20 is expensive when we offer everything to copy it (burner, blank DVDs, re-encoding and burning software......

    Hello

The discussion flirts with the CCM Charter and this part Respect the legislation in force.

The law allows making a personal copy of a DVD that one owns, not a copy of a copy...

Moreover, there's no need to look for software on eMule or elsewhere, you have DVDFab HD Decrypter which is free on the site.
Otherwise, you can use the other Platinum or Gold versions available for evaluation on the site: http://www.dvdfab.com/fr/index.htm

    Best regards

You have two choices, if I remember correctly.
You can either rip the entire DVD, which is Full Disc.
Or you can only copy the Main Movie and choose the parameters to remove such as unnecessary audio tracks.
The source is your DVD inserted into your drive.
The Destination is the folder where your ripped DVD will be located. You can modify it.
The particularity of the software is that it creates a folder inside the folder you created, which is called for example "FullDisc" for the complete DVD copy. It is inside this folder that you need to go to find the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS directories.

This free software does not have all the capabilities offered by the other paid versions. You can only copy. For burning, you need to do it with another burning software like DVD Shrink.

No, it works like DVD Shrink which does not burn. You need to pair it with a burning software.
Neither one, DVDFab HD Decrypter, nor the other, DVD Shrink, does the burning.
To burn, you need to use burning software like Nero, CD Burner XP Pro, ImgBurn, or DVDDecrypter in the case of ISO Images, etc....
If you copy to your hard drive with DVDFab, you will find two directories VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS in a folder created by the software or by you. These are the directories that you will burn.

Another thing, does direct DVD to DVD copying not work with Nero?

Try with a rewritable DVD RW.

Thank you, I will try. I have Nero, I will do a test, but it's the functioning of DVDfab Encrypt that I don't understand the steps to follow. Thank you

It's the same as with DVD Shrink regarding ripping. You have two possible choices: the entire movie or the main feature.
Then you burn it with a burning software.

Hi, I have too many problems with Shrink that I used a few years ago to create a video library, but honesty has taken over. Now I'm a family man and I want to copy my DVDs to put in my car's player, but the problem... Shrink CSS cannot rip, so I downloaded the English version and it rips but all the chapters are read and burned in any order. I've tried with DVD Fab and it's the same, so I'm stuck, because on all the forums I visit, everyone says that both work well. So either there are a lot of liars or I have a damn problem. For info, I’m using XP and Nero 8. Can someone please help me?
