PC screen is black after a fall

Hello,

I dropped my laptop after tripping over the charger cable. It was on and fell straight from the chair onto the tile floor.
When I turned it back on, I tried different options: starting normally, safe mode, etc... Each time, I end up with a black screen... What can I do?

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.13

    Wow, 140€, a hard drive costs 30€ depending on the capacity.

      It includes the diagnosis, the hard drive replacement, the Windows reinstallation, and the labor. At Mac, for the same thing, they charge double.
      Regarding your wise advice to replace the PC altogether, personally, I find it fair!
