Hello. Recently, I had a problem with Freemake Video Converter. It won't open anymore and gives an error message on the file freemakevc.exe saying process ID=0xb54 (2900) and thread ID=0xa18 (2584). I was in the middle of burning a DVD when suddenly my firewall blocked it, so the burning stopped and the file stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything. I need help!!!

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.13

Execute as an administrator, that's enough.
Freemake is a superb software, I recommend it )))

    Hello,

I just installed version 2.0.0 and it won't start either without any error message. Uninstall, ccleaner, reinstall... nothing, it doesn't start at all. Any idea?

    I'm on seven 32

Edit: ahhh I found it...... Right-click and run as administrator.

    Still, I am an administrator.

    Hello everyone.
I have a small issue with this program version 3.0.2.6, maybe you have the solution. I record my TV programs with Windows Media Center, but they have a very specific file format (DVR-MS). I would like to convert them into AVI files so that I can play them on a VCR located in a different room via a USB stick or external hard drive, and also remove the ads. However, Freemake doesn’t capture the entire film; for a 2-hour program, it only takes 25 minutes, and for a 1-hour program, it only takes 20 minutes, no matter what DVR-MS file it is. On the other hand, with a 2-hour 15-minute VCL file, there is no problem; it takes a long time (2 hours 35 minutes) but captures the entire movie.
I look forward to your responses.
    Thank you in advance.
    Chris.
