Hello,
I have a file that has multiple Word pages, some are correct but others have the text replaced by squares...
I want to recover it because I need it for my studies... what should I do, do I need to get my tissue out to cry...
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

In the online attachment, I opened it but it didn't work like you; however, if you save the file, you can open it correctly and see that the text is replaced by squares.
You can join an excerpt from https://www.cjoint.com/
It will be easier to understand.
Thank you

There is nothing readable, are you sure that it was indeed a .doc file that you opened with Word?

Yes, it's with Word, I followed the process but, on the other hand, I saved it as and it's working... it's Microsoft 2007.
So it's solved?

Well, I don't understand "I did the process but on the other hand, I saved as and it works..."
Is it you who started this file in Word and saved this file on your PC or was it retrieved or created elsewhere?
When I look at the properties of the file you sent, the statistics show 1 word and over 65,000 characters, what I see are ÿs everywhere and I am on 2007.

Are all of them like this? Or just this one?
Can you upload the entire thing to cjoint or not?

Well, it looks like you've caught a virus!
It's normal, it's cold outside ;-)
Run a full antivirus scan (after updating it) on your PC and maybe an online one too!

Here is a small file, tell me if you can read it or if it's in the same state as yours

I'll do it,
thank you for still trying to help me.
I'll see if it works; if not, well, too bad, the world won't stop for this problem... I'll keep these files as they are, maybe one day I'll manage to find some little pieces.

I notice that you have Internet Explorer and it recognizes Office 2007 files as .zip.
So I am changing it back to .doc
