Hello,

I just got this computer but I can't connect to the network via Wi-Fi. It doesn't recognize this type of connection. I tried updating the Nvidia nForce Network 10/100/1000 Mbps driver without success.
What should I do?
Is it possible that a new-generation PC doesn't recognize Wi-Fi????
In that case, should I just change my PC!!!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

    Hello,

Do you have an Ethernet connection?

Hello, I have the same problem with this recently acquired PC: Acer eMachines EL1352-016.

I am unable to connect to the internet with a wifi key, even though it is compatible with Windows 7.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

    Thank you in advance.

    Good evening
these are the characteristics of an Ethernet card (cable):
    Nvidia nForce Network 10/100/1000 Mbps

the PC reference suggests it is a tower, this type of PC does not come with a Wi-Fi network card

is there a small antenna at the back of the tower?

    Hello,

Confirmation: this PC, like many towers, does not have a Wi-Fi card.

But this is an easy defect to fix
    - either with a USB dongle
    - or with a PCI expansion card to be installed in a free slot on the motherboard.

Cost: starting from less than €20.

If your PC is close to your xxxbox, the USB dongle will probably do the job.
If there are obstacles between them, a PCI card with an antenna will be more sensitive... but will cost more.
