Hello, we just gave the same computer to our daughter but there is a first disappointment: no manual in the box!! After charging the computer, when starting it, the screen freezes on Windows and nothing moves despite touching the keyboard: what do you think? Thank you in advance, best regards.

    problems solved: after calling Videojet in Paris: _manual sent by post _PERFECT explanations by a technician regarding the configuration to be done by downloading the appropriate software from their site in short exemplary after-sales service now just waiting for the manual sent by post

    Following your message, your PC Kids is experiencing a real malfunction.

    To resolve this issue, please perform a system restore by downloading the file available on our website on the PC Kids product presentation page.

    Please follow the restoration procedure described below:

    System restoration procedure:

    - Once this file is downloaded to a different computer, unzip it using winzip or winrar and then copy it to a blank SD card.

    - Insert it into the powered-off PC Kids.

    - Turn on the computer. The restoration process will start automatically.

    - At the end of the procedure, remove the SD card and turn off the PC Kids by pressing the power button and pressing the Enter key on the keyboard.

    - Finally, start the computer normally.

    Note: Please be aware that all files (photos, music, documents) will be deleted during this operation.

      Hello, facing the same problem, I performed the operation as you described, but when starting the computer there is no reaction, the screen remains frozen on the Windows CE window.
      What could the symptoms be?

      Good evening, I had the same problem. I struggled since July and today (on 08/27/2011) it’s finally resolved.
      I recorded the system restore on my personal computer, compressed it, and copied the "script" (check the model under the kids' PC) onto a blank SD card. Then I inserted it into the KIDS PC while it was off, and then I turned it on with the on/off button + enter. I turned it back on and it did everything by itself. But especially connecting to the internet via ethernet for the first time. And it's pure joy!!! Now hoping that the downloadable games will be available soon.

      Hello, I have the same problem. I followed the instructions to the letter and now there's nothing left. Just the screen displaying Windows. Can someone help me to fix it, please? I'm so upset; it's the birthday gift for my son who turns 6 on Monday.

    Hello,
    my cousins have a kids' PC but they can't listen to music. So they gave it to me to fix the problem, but I have no idea how to do it. There is a music software installed, but it seems like it's not working.

    Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

      To put music in mp3, just open the window in the My Music menu, then go either to your own computer (adult) and perform a few manipulations, that is to say upload (put) music onto an SD card for example and then do copy-paste (from the SD card via the NetKids computer (in the open My Music window) and then once that's done, try clicking on a track and it should work.

    Hello, to restart my Kid PC, I contacted Videojet and was instructed to download a program that I saved on an SD card, and then follow the procedure.
