Hello,
I was approached by Bouygues for an IDéo package including mobile+landline+internet+TV... while I was with Free for TV+internet+landline.
WARNING, THESE SCAMMERS LIE "JUST" BY OMISSION.
To note:
- the Bbox is not free unlike Free: you are charged €49
- they do not mention that the digital recorder is not included and that you need to add €5 a month... unlike Free where it's free
- they also do not mention that if your PC and TV are on wifi (in 2 different rooms), you need to buy 2 powerline adapters which range in price from €99 to €129 at Bouygues stores. Perhaps starting at €30 at supermarkets but you are warned that the picture quality may not be good!!!! with Free, these adapters are included in the pack and free!!!
I canceled everything immediately: registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, + boxes to be returned...cost of the operation?!?!?! Add to that hours on the phone trying to get a commercial gesture!!!
"Bouygues No. 1 in communication"; such is their advertising slogan...a lie. No. 1 in concealment...that’s true!
....and in passing, I informed the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention, as well as UFC Que Choisir, etc...
Same scam at SFR.
So be careful and do not hesitate to write to the authorities to put an end to their thieving actions!!!

Hello,
You didn't read the price sheets, I went on Bouygues' website and found the information that you claim Bouygues omitted
The €49 for the box is simply a security deposit, because you don't buy it, you rent it!
Security Deposit
€49 including tax for the Bbox TV Decoder
And for your VCR, if it’s not included in the offer, it’s normal for you to pay extra! It's not mentioned in the list of equipment offered with the plan
Well, as for the CPL boxes, I didn’t find anything on that topic. I admit that.
But before clicking on the first thing you see on the internet without thinking and then coming to complain later, try to inform yourself a bit better!
You don't subscribe to something like this without thinking it through and studying it thoroughly.
If you had taken the time to read the sales conditions, the price sheets, or even go directly to Bouygues so that someone could explain things to you in detail, you might not be surprised today.
So before crying fraud and theft, inform yourself because right now you're looking like a fool!
Best regards!

I am reading these exchanges belatedly. I also thought there was a mistake because the €49 security deposit corresponds to the TV decoder, I was told.
However, I just returned it because it wasn't working for me.
When I asked how to get my security deposit back, the reply was: you will only get it back WHEN YOU RETURN THE BOX! I was taken aback. You have to cancel to get the security deposit back even though I was told I could return the decoder whenever I wanted, without specifying: "BUT WE KEEP THE SECURITY DEPOSIT."
There you go, disappointment because everything was going well until then.
If someone wanted to tell me that the sales representative made a mistake, I would be relieved...
Best regards.

Well done Bouygues!
The day after the device was returned, I received the credit note regarding the security deposit for the TV decoder.
Thank you to Bouygues for such promptness.
Sincerely.
