Big Ben Wii Microphone Issue... Solved

Question

Hello,

As the title indicates, I have a microphone issue with the Wii (4.3). These are microphones from the brand Big Ben "Let's Sing" that were recommended by the seller when we purchased the game U-Sing 2. However, the microphones are not detected by the console, preventing us from playing... Therefore, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Additional info: The Wii is not modded, the microphones are detected when I plug them into the PC, we exchanged them yesterday at the store but the problem persists...

My question is: which microphones should I choose to play U-Sing 2 on an unmodded Wii?

Hello Malandro44,  I had the same problem during the first installation, and after turning the Wii off and on again, it worked, or you can try changing the USB port. Good luck!

Hello,  same issue, I went to return the microphones to the store. I use the Logitech microphones (one provided with the game, the other provided with the girls' night).

I have the same issue, we tested the pack of 2 BIG BEN microphones and the pack of 1 microphone, and nothing works! We are wondering if only the Logitech microphone works!
The saleswoman is supposed to check with the supplier tomorrow. But if you have an answer, I'm also interested.

Good evening, to start with, the Big Ben Let's Sing microphones should - in theory - be compatible with all the singing games on the Wii, the seller himself had advised us on this. However, they didn't work with the U-Sing game and to be honest, I don't know if they work with other games. In any case, the Logitech microphones provided with the game work perfectly. In my humble opinion, it is better to return them to the store and get the Logitech microphones. I discovered that if you read the microphone pack carefully with the game (on the back of the box), you can read, for example for U-Sing, "Compatible with U-Sing (so all U-Sing) and Rock Band. So if you want to play, for example, SingStar, you need to buy the microphone with the SingStar game."
