I can't speak on Fortnite.

Hello, I used to play Fortnite on a laptop, and my microphone (headset) worked fine, but after switching to a desktop PC, I couldn't talk anymore. All my settings are perfect (voice chat enabled / Squad comms), and I tried changing headsets, but that didn't work either. A little help, please ;)

What is the connectivity of your tower?
If there are female jack 3.5mm pink (microphone) and green (headphones) ports, and if your headset/microphone has a male jack with 4 sections, you will need an adapter:

Yes, but there may be a compatibility issue because not all microphones/headsets are configured the same way:     I call a spade a spade *      *in French in the text

Right-click on Windows in the bottom left
Device Manager, sound, right-click on the device that manages the sound (for me it's Realtek High Definition Audio) and uninstall it, restart your PC and normally it should be fine.
