Two photos in one? Solved/Closed

Hello, During the family meal yesterday, I took one photo of my mother and one photo of my father. Can I combine these two photos into one? And how? Please Thank you in advance and happy holidays.

You open both photos with an editing software like Photofiltre, select all or part of one, copy it, go to the second one and paste it, position the collage as you see fit and save it.
Be careful, the size will change!! I'm saying this for potential printing
It's up to you to decide on the positioning and what exactly you want to do.

You can use software like Makeup pilot to erase the edges and make the integration more successful.

Use software that manages layers, like Gimp for example (free), or Photofiltre which is also free but without filter management, downloadable here: http://photofiltre.free.fr/.
Nonetheless, photo editing remains a tedious operation to achieve a logical result with a certain degree of accuracy...

Error, for Photofiltre, it's the layer management that it doesn't take into account, and it manages all the filters, with such a name, it would have been unfortunate...

To merge 2 photos into one using Photofiltre, here’s how to proceed:
1- open the photo that will be in the foreground
2- in the edit menu => outline and fill
3- check fill pattern and search for the photo you want in the background (click on the yellow folder)
4- choose the desired opacity (100% the photo 1 is hidden - 0% the photo 2 does not appear...)
5- click OK and it's done!
you just created a beautiful montage!
